News Writers Required
The Star Global Tribune is looking for people to write news. I write for a few news sites and I was looking for others to write for when I came up with this.
I've no personal experience of it as yet but I'll be filling out the application form and will see how it goes.
They are a Google News source and you'll earn 50% of the Adsense revenue that you earn on your articles. The site also gives a backlink for each article that you submit, great if you are new to blogging or have a website that needs some promotion.
You can find out more here:

Music Writers Required
Chorus and Verse are looking for freelance writers who can get artist interviews. Ideally, they want people to do at least one article a month and articles are assigned or you can propose an idea for an interview to the editor.
They are looking for interviews which are between 750-1.250 words and writers must arrange to provide two or more pictures to go with the articles.
This might be better suited for writers in the United States because they pay by cheque which can cost £6.00 to convert in the UK and they don't seem to offer a Pay Pal option.
Rates of Pay
$20 for local bands/musicians
$30 regional, established/touring bands
$50 for national bands and musicians.
Bloggers are also wanted but this is unpaid. If you like the idea of writing a music blog for them then they are looking for album reviews, concert reviews and opinions.
Find them at:

Writers wanted at Snipsly
I came across this site today and thought I'd pass it on since it looks like its quite active.
The site pays you based on what you earn from Adsense ads placed around your articles. Some people don't like this format and would rather be paid straight out but one thing I noticed about Snipsly is that it's articles have relatively high page views, some of them in their thousands, which, should turn in to a decent number of clicks on your ads so this site should be worth a go.
The site split ad revenue on a 20/80 basis.
With this site you get to keep the ownership of your paid article work. Whether that means you can post the same articles on a different site, I don't know as some article writing sites allow you to do this and others don't.
To keep updated on the latest writing opportunities then please sign up as a follower and if you have experience with this site or other article writing sites then please leave a comment or e mail me direct.
